Seed Starting - March 8, 2025

There are few things more rewarding, and tasty, than pulling up and eating vegetables from your own garden.  In this half-day course, students will learn about the process of planting and caring for a starter garden, in addition to planting their own seeds in starter trays.  Seed starting provides a jump start to any planting season, extending the growing window and allowing for a more bountiful harvest.

The day will include:

• Seed selection
• Planting starters
• Care instructions
  
• Garden care and preparation education
• Lunch

At the end of the workshop, participants will take home a tray of planted seeds to start their own garden.

Location: Sandusky Garden, Kansas City, Kansas
