Wild Berries - June 21, 2025

Wild berries grow abundantly in the Midwest and are easy to find once you know where to look. When freshly picked, these berries pack a wealth flavor and nutrition. In this workshop, you'll experience the joys of harvesting and cooking with wild berries, thorns and all. Additionally, participants will explore preservation techniques to capture that peak summer flavor all year round, as well as learn how to make berry filled tarts.

The day will include:

• Morning berry picking
  
• Lunch
• Preserving berries
• Making flakey tart dough
• Filling and baking tarts
• Dinner

At the end of the workshop, participants will take home a jar of berry jam.

Location: Bittersweet Farm, Weston, MO
